Valencia have put in some really strong performances
at Mestalla this season and they should have a bit too much
for Cadiz in this game.
It feels like there is genuine competition in almost every position
for Valencia now and that should help Gennaro Gattuso as his team
negotiates this busy period in the season which will see them
head off for the Spanish Supercopa in Saudi Arabia next week.
Valencia rested virtually all of their most regular starters
in the 3-0 Copa del Rey win at La Nucia in midweek
so they should be fresh to go again here.
I’d expect the home team to dominate possession
and while Cadiz may cause the occasional problem on the break,
Valencia have much more creative and attacking quality
and they should win the game.
