Sevilla vs Getafe


There was a morale boosting 5-0 win for Sevilla in the cup
in midweek with Youssef En-Nesyri netting a hat-trick
to build on an impressive World Cup with Morocco.


However it’d be wrong to read too much into that result given
their lowly opposition and they did not play well in Vigo last week
in LaLiga where they were a bit fortunate to get a draw.


I can see Getafe making a real game of this and they have made
clear progress under Quique Sanchez Flores despite
also starting the season poorly.


Defensively they look solid and while it’s not a team packed
with stars, their front two of Enes Unal and
Borja Mayoral have a good understanding and are capable of
asking questions of an unconvincing Sevilla defence.


Therefore, I’m not convinced that Jorge Sampaoli’s team will have
enough to claim that elusive first home league win of the season.
