Almeria will have played all of the current top eight teams after this 
game and they are yet to pick up a single point from those fixtures. 


That suggests they are usually found out when they face the big clubs 
and I expect Atletico Madrid to be too strong for them too. 


There have been some positives for Atleti since the resumption and 
they played quite well against Barcelona last weekend in a game they 
didn’t deserve to lose. 


Joao Felix started that game but has since left to join Chelsea on loan, 
although I don’t think it’s a huge blow for Atleti given the Portuguese 
forward’s relatively limited contribution during his time in Spain. 


His absence should see Alvaro Morata return here and I’d expect the 
visitors to have enough attacking quality to break open 
this unconvincing Almeria defence and win the game.
