Real Valladolid largely defied expectations with their start 
to the season but reality has set in recently 
with four straight defeats to nil in LaLiga heading into this. 


They aren’t creating many chances and could really do 
with adding a couple of players this month to bolster 
their options in the final third. 


I can’t see them getting on the scoresheet here either 
against an Atletico Madrid side that has looked slightly 
more impressive since the restart. 


Their results don’t necessarily tell that story but they look 
stronger on the right flank with Marcos Llorente operating 
ahead of Nahuel Molina while the return to form 
of Antoine Griezmann in recent months has also been a positive. 


They should have a bit too much quality across the pitch 
for their struggling opponents.
