Both sides suffered weekend setbacks and Valencia responded 
by parting company with coach Gennaro Gattuso. 
They’ll most likely be managed by caretaker boss Voro here 
but it’s hard to see things going any better. 


It’s a young team that looks low on confidence and 
Real Madrid should find it much easier to create chances 
than they did against Real Sociedad at the weekend. 


An early goal could really spell trouble for Valencia 
but Los Blancos haven’t been starting games that well. 


It’s perhaps more likely that they will grow into this game 
and eventually we should see someone like Luka Modric, 
who was rested at the weekend, open up this Valencia defence 
which has looked vulnerable in recent matches.
