Girona vs Almeria
These two sides have been good additions to LaLiga and
both have tried to play more positive football than we often see
from newly promoted teams.
Both teams feel quite “top heavy” though in that they have lots
of good attacking options but regularly struggle defensively
which suggests we’ll get goals here.
Almeria’s away record is really poor
but they would have been encouraged by a weak display
from Girona in their last match at Cadiz.
The Catalans are missing some important players currently
with Miguel Gutierrez suspended while midfielder Yangel Herrera
is one of a number of injury absentees.
Therefore, I’m not sure Girona will be able to impose quite
as much dominance on this game as they might have liked and
the visitors may have enough quality going forwards to get a result.
