Almeria vs Barcelona


Xavi rotated his Barcelona team and still found a win against 
Cadiz last weekend. 


We may see some alterations here too given this game falls 
between cup ties against Manchester United and Real Madrid. 


However Gavi will miss the United game through suspension 
and should start in midfield here as a result while Sergio Busquets 
is also available again. 


That should give them a solid base and I doubt an Almeria defence 
that conceded six last weekend will be strong enough to offer the 
kind of resistance needed to get a result. 


Rubi isn’t the kind of coach who will change to a more defensive 
gameplan, so I’d expect another relatively open match involving 
Almeria but most likely another defeat for the Andalusian side.


Prediction: Almeria 1-2 Barcelona
