Following four straight league defeats, Villarreal really need to stop
the rot here, but I could see them enduring another difficult evening.
The home team still have a fitness doubt over key striker Gerard Moreno
and there are midfield problems too with Manu Trigueros suspended
following his red card in the 4-2 defeat at Mallorca.
Defensively, they should have fewer issues in this game with
Getafe lacking quite such a dominant targetman as Vedat Muriqi
who caused them lots of problems last weekend.
However the visitors are an organised side who haven’t conceded
more than once in any of their last 5 matches so there may be
similarities to some of Villarreal’s recent games in that they’ll most
likely dominate possession without creating too many chances.
