Real Sociedad are experiencing a serious dip in form and
while they remain in the top four heading into this weekend,
they look like a team in need of the international break
and a chance to regroup.
Elche by contrast are improving with 4 points
from their last 2 games, although relegation is still all but certain.
I could see them competing here to some extent
but it’s hard to see them going away to a creative team
like Real Sociedad and not giving up chances
as their central defence has been by far the worst
in LaLiga this term.
La Real’s forwards all seem to be out of form right now
with Take Kubo and Alexander Sorloth struggling to repeat
their early season heroics while Mikel Oyarzabal isn’t back
to his best after long-term injury.
Evenso, I’d expect them to find at least one goal to get
the better of the division’s bottom club.
