Sevilla claimed a vital win against fellow strugglers Cadiz
last weekend in their first game under
new boss Jose Luis Mendilibar.
While they did benefit from some questionable refereeing decisions,
it was a positive start.
The new coach has made a point of simplifying the tactics and focusing
more on the basics as he will know this Sevilla side should have enough
quality in their ranks to avoid relegation. I fancy that approach may
help them back things up with another win here against a Celta side
that is missing key man Gabri Veiga to suspension.
He will leave a big hole in midfield that is very difficult to fill and
it’s possible we might see a slight dip in form now for the Galician
side who have overachieved so far in 2023.
