as good as they could have expected this season.
However 9 goals conceded in the last 2 matches appeared to
convince the board that a change was needed to avoid a
slide down into the relegation places.
This is a good chance for new boss Paulo Pezzolano to record
an opening win as Mallorca’s away record is horrendous since
the turn of the year and the visitors are also hampered
by three suspensions for the trip to the Jose Zorrilla.
An opening win for Pezzolano is very possible as a result,
but I’d still expect Real Valladolid to be in relegation danger
come the final couple of weeks of the season.
