Real Madrid have lost 2 of their last 3 league games and
they know anything less than a win
here will see Barcelona crowned champions.
Carlo Ancelotti will be aware that the title race is already effectively
over though and we can expect many changes
as he rests players ahead of
next week’s Champions League trip to Manchester.
That offers Getafe a glimmer of hope, but I’m not sure
they’ll be able to take full advantage.
Under the reappointed Jose Bordalas,
defensive solidity will be the number one priority and
their chances of getting on the scoresheet are hampered further
by the suspension of top scorer Enes Unal.
They did defend well in a key 1-0 win over Celta last time out
and they may be able to frustrate an under-strength Real Madrid
for large periods of this game but Ancelotti will have quality
to bring off the bench if needed and
the home team should still get the win.
