After four straight defeats, Celta Vigo are now in genuine relegation
trouble and this may be their best remaining opportunity
of picking up the win that should guarantee safety.
Girona won’t make it easy for them though and look capable
of getting a positive result as they push for European qualification.
Celta’s goal threat has almost completely evaporated
since they returned from the March international break.
It’s possible that opposing teams have simply grasped better
what they were doing well and have come up
with more effective tactics to counter a team that had initially
