I expect them to stay up but it wouldn’t be a big shock if they
lost here given they could be without as many as eight players
due to injury or suspension.
They haven’t played well in recent away matches and
on current form, Elche are well capable of taking advantage.
Despite having been bottom for virtually the entire season,
Elche are the only LaLiga side to have avoided
defeat in all of their last four matches.
I expect them to take this game seriously with coach
Sebastián Beccacece clearly keen to continue building and
shaping a team that will target promotion next season.
With the likes of Lucas Boye starting to look a bit sharper
in front of goal, I wouldn’t be surprised if
they ended a very bad season with a win.
