the Championship nears its inevitable confirmation.
For the rest of the season, they’ll be playing for pride and
the need as a club to avoid recording the lowest
Premier League points total in the competition’s history to
avoid maximum embarrassment.
That record is currently held by Derby during the 2007/08 season,
with their total tally of 11 two greater than
Southampton’s total of nine so far
which they’ll be hoping to leapfrog with a first win in
five attempts on home soil in this fixture against
WolvesVisiting Wolves are themselves still locked in a relegation

a four-point cushion for Forest ahead of City

With Chelsea facing a tough challenge away to Arsenal,
Pep Guardiola’s side will be hoping to claim a vital win at
the Etihad to leapfrog the Londoners into fourth spot,
but they won’t have it all their own way against a resurgent
Brighton side who make the long trip north in great form.
That’s because ever since been humiliating by Nottingham Forest
in a 7-0 loss at the City Ground back in early February,
Brighton have since responded to win each of
their last four league games in total
which sees them enter this matchday sat comfortably in
seventh spot and jut a point behind Manchester City.

a season for the first time since Chelsea endured
